Today we're going to take a look at the Ksource custom manual driver side flipout towing mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2009 to 2013 Dodge Ram and Ram 1500 pickups with manual mirror, and also the 2010 to 2012 Dodge Ram and Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups with the manual mirror. Now any time on a custom fit part I always like to recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle. It will show you if this will work for your application. Now this is an extendable towing mirror which will replace the factory sideview on your vehicle. There's no need for any of the towing snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to put on take off.
Has this flipout function which will make it easy to see around the side of your trailer so that you can safely change lanes, pass or park. All you have to do to flip it out is just rotate the mirror face to the outside you can see. That will extend your line of sight by about 3-3/4". Then when you're done, all you have to do is just push the mirror back into place when you're not towing. Now it does have a manual mirror face adjustment. In other words, you adjust the mirror by using your hand.
Over here, the smaller mirror, that's a built-in spotter mirror, helps reduce any blind spots. That is also a manual adjustment. This does have a hinge design which allows you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces. The mirrors is a textured black plastic housing. It is custom fit for your vehicle.
It is a simple no-drill installation. You can see it has the same footprint and same mounting points as the factory mirror. Now this part is for a driver side mirror only. Now I do want to give you some specs on this. We're going to measure the dual face portion. First we'll do the larger mirror.
The width this way is going to be right at about 7-11/16. The height is right about 7-1/8" tall. The blind spot mirror at the widest point is about 3-1/4". Now the overall length when it's in the retracted position just like that, from here to here it's going to be 20-3/4". When you rotate it out like that from here to here in the extended position is going to be 24-1/2". That should do it for the review on the Ksource custom manual driver side flipout towing mirror.

I have enjoyed having these mirrors vs the stock non extending ones. They have increased my visibility greatly.
I do wish I had opted for the ones with power but it’s not a must. I would buy them again.
